The Unearthed Foundation
No family should have to wonder where their next meal is coming from.
Hunger Relief & Community Food Access Program
Fighting hunger. Restoring dignity. Strengthening families.

Food Is More Than a Meal
The Unearthed Foundation believes food is more than a meal.
Food creates stability.
Food brings families together.
Food gives someone facing a difficult season one less thing to worry about.
Through our partnership with Central California Food Bank and in collaboration with WMP Transformation Campus, powered by Wear My Pain LLC, The Unearthed Foundation is helping put food directly into the hands of people who need it.

Fresno, California
First Saturday Community Food Distribution
On the first Saturday of every month, The Unearthed Foundation distributes food through WMP Transformation Campus to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity throughout the Fresno community.
100+
Families Served
More than 100 families have already been served. Now we're building something consistent. Our goal is to identify and serve 50 families every month, creating a dependable point of food support for households that need a little extra help making it through the month.

Who We Serve
Our food assistance efforts prioritize:
Families experiencing food insecurity
Individuals experiencing homelessness
People transitioning out of homelessness or instability
Mothers and caregivers of justice-impacted children
Justice-impacted individuals and families
Community members facing financial hardship
Our work doesn't stop on the first Saturday.
Throughout the month, our team also provides food and essential support to members of our local homeless community.
Because hunger doesn't only happen once a month.
Neither should compassion.
We believe community means showing up consistently, not only when it's convenient.
See the person.
Meet the need.
Follow through.

Food Assistance
Need a little help this month?
There is no shame in needing a little help.
Sometimes a family simply needs someone in their corner.
The Unearthed Foundation is building our Community Food Access List of Fresno-area families that we aim to serve through our First Saturday Community Food Distribution.
Put your family on the table.
Join our Community Food Access List to receive information about upcoming distributions, locations, availability, and other community resources.
Volunteer With Us
Want to help put food on another family's table?
You don't have to operate a nonprofit to fight hunger.
You can be a business owner. A church. A neighborhood organization. A volunteer. A donor. Or simply someone who believes their community should take care of its people.
Whether you contribute food, resources, funding, time, transportation, or help us reach another family, you're helping build a community where fewer people have to face hunger alone.

Community Partnerships in Action
Food. Employment. Resources. Opportunity.
The Unearthed Foundation believes the strongest community impact happens when organizations stop working in isolation and start working together.
Our Hunger Relief & Community Food Access Program is building partnerships that allow us to connect food assistance with employment, reentry support, community resources, and pathways toward greater stability.

Current Partner
Central California Food Bank
The Unearthed Foundation partners with Central California Food Bank to help provide food to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity throughout the Fresno community.

Collaborating Organization
Fresno DAPO — Department of Adult Parole Operations
The Unearthed Foundation is collaborating with Fresno DAPO in connection with community and reentry efforts, including an upcoming employment fair in October where we are working to organize food box distribution alongside employment and community resources.
October Employment & Community Resource Fair
More than a job fair.
Employment opportunities. Community resources. Food assistance. Connection. A pathway forward.
Through collaboration with Fresno DAPO and community partners, The Unearthed Foundation is working to make food boxes available during the October employment fair.
The goal is simple: when someone comes looking for employment, we want to recognize the other needs that may be standing between that person and stability. Because sometimes the person looking for a job is also trying to figure out how they are going to feed their family that night.
See the person.
Meet the need.
Follow through.

Serve consistently.

Because whether someone is in Fresno or Pittsburgh, hunger feels the same. And dignity should never depend on a ZIP code.
The Larger Mission
Sometimes food is the first step.
A food box may address today's immediate need.
But the person carrying that box may also need employment. Housing. Technology access. Transportation. Reentry support. A connection to community resources. Or simply someone willing to listen.
That's why The Unearthed Foundation believes community support should go beyond a single transaction. We work to connect people with resources and opportunities that can help move them from immediate need toward long-term stability.
Food can open the door.
Opportunity can change what happens next.
See the person. Meet the need. Follow through.
We don't just identify needs. We show up.
